Inspired to Learn
Supported to Thrive
At Rodmersham, a love of learning sits at the heart of everything we do, supported by a strong commitment to the wellbeing of every child and adult in our community. We believe children achieve their best when they feel safe, valued, and a true sense of belonging.
Education here is a shared journey. Working in partnership with families, staff, Governors, and the wider community, we create an open, supportive environment where every child is known, nurtured, and encouraged to thrive: whatever their starting point.
I warmly invite you to visit Rodmersham School to experience the caring, confident, and resilient community that makes us so special.

Family
Family is our heartbeat. By prioritising loyalty and kindness, we create a supportive home where every child belongs. Through teamwork and cooperation, we build the emotional foundations pupils need to feel safe and flourish together.
Fairness
Fairness is our guide. We champion equality and inclusivity, ensuring every member of our community knows they matter. By building trust, we empower children to act with integrity and treat others with genuine respect.
Fearless
We embrace a fearless approach to life and learning. By fostering resilience and courage, we teach pupils to tackle challenges and mistakes with confidence. This bold mindset ensures they remain curious and determined lifelong learners.

Well-Being
for All
Social and emotional skills help children and young people develop resilience and manage their thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.
They are essential life skills that support pupils’ ability to cope with and negotiate difficult situations and build positive relationships with their peers and adults.
These skills not only promote wellbeing and prevent mental health difficulties, but they also have a significant positive impact on academic attainment and enhance pupils’ motivation. This should inspire us as educators to prioritize the development of these skills in our students.
I like Rodmersham because everyone knows my name.
